About The Position

EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) - Zollner is seeking an experienced Solderer to join our manufacturing team at our Salem, NH facility. We are looking for a skilled professional with 1+ years of hands-on soldering experience who is ready to take on more complex assemblies and contribute to high-reliability electronics manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products across Industrial, Communications, Aerospace, Defense, and Healthcare markets while continuing to develop your technical expertise. About EIT EIT is a Contract Manufacturer providing Electronic Manufacturing Services to customers in Industrial, Communications, Aerospace, Defense, and Healthcare markets. What You'll Do As an experienced Solderer on our manufacturing team, you will take ownership of assembly and soldering tasks on prototype, pilot, and production builds. Your responsibilities will include:

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of hands-on soldering experience (SMT, thru-hole, or both)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Familiarity with electronic components and assembly processes
  • Reliable attendance and professional work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Execute SMT, thru-hole, and electromechanical assembly and soldering with precision and consistency
  • Assemble complex prototype, pilot, and production builds to specification
  • Read, interpret, and follow detailed technical drawings and work instructions
  • Perform rework and inspection tasks with attention to quality standards
  • Support engineering teams with product start-ups, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements
  • Build electro-mechanical units using both written and verbal instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere to ISO manufacturing standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality targets
