Cleanleaf is seeking a temporary Solar Technician I to join our growing team! The Solar Technician I is a first-level field position with opportunities for further learning. This opportunity is for a TEMPORARY technician to complete a specific special project. The role is anticipated to start in June 2026 and end in August 2026 or upon completion of the project, whichever comes first. ABOUT THE ROLE Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis Perform Preventive Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards Perform Corrective Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards, ensuring that the root cause has been identified and corrected Ensure that work being performed in the area meets or exceeds Cleanleaf O&M standards Complete assigned tasks safely, correctly, and within the allotted time Ensure all PPE, tools, and equipment assigned to the employee are accounted for, maintained in good condition, repaired or replaced as required Interface with SCADA/DAS systems to understand onsite issue with the ability to communicate to both management and customers Correctly document all work in a Service Visit and Case within Cleanleaf’s CMMS. Correct documentation includes proper grammar and spelling, photography, thermal photography, and completion of checklists Perform vegetation management through the use of mowers and handheld, motorized trimmers Perform panel washing through the use of water fed brushes Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Area Supervisor SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Safety is a core value at Cleanleaf, and the Solar Technician II must: Read, understand and sign all safety procedures Attend weekly safety meetings Receive, inspect, and maintain all required PPE Complete all required safety training Ensure every safety incident known to the employee is reported timely and accurately Ensure every safety incident involving the employee is fully investigated, documented and corrective actions are implemented
