The core business of their Energy Solutions division is the delivery of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) and Design/Build Contracts, which upgrade and renovate facilities in a budget-neutral or budget-positive way by diverting utility spending into facility upgrades. This process covers scope development, design, bidding, construction management, commissioning, measurement and verification, and ongoing energy management services. CMTA has extensive experience in designing highly energy-efficient buildings, including zero energy buildings. Additionally, CMTA’s Renewable Energy team has broad experience in the renewable energy sector, including behind-the-meter, front-of-the-meter, and community solar projects. They work across various building types and focus on Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), microgrids, and EV charging infrastructure to deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. This position is within the rapidly growing Energy Solutions division and involves working with a team of engineers to design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems for various clients. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a technical background who thrives on helping clients.

Requirements

  • 0-3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Revit/AutoCAD
  • Electrical engineering - Ability to develop, read and discuss single line diagrams for PV systems
  • Energy (Real Power, Reactive Power & Apparent Power)
  • Solar - Knowledge of grid tied PV systems & associated components
  • Power Distribution - Knowledge of 3-Phase Power Systems
  • Construction - Basic understanding of project management, project flow & deadlines
  • Design - Familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius & Other inverter products
