Software Testing Manager
About The Position
Lead the quality assurance function for one or more product lines. Establish testing strategy, maintain automation and CI/CD pipelines, and ensure release readiness through measurable quality practices. Define and execute QA strategy, standards, and quality gates. Manage and develop a team of test engineers, SDETs, and QA analysts. Design, implement, and maintain test automation across unit, integration, API, UI, regression, performance, and security testing. Establish metrics and reporting for test coverage, defect rate, and release quality. Interface with client and prime leads, providing regular status updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or additional FOUR (4) years relevant experience.
- Minimum Seven (7) years' experience in software testing with TWO (2) years in a lead or managerial role.
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development, TDD or BDD, and test management tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with performance and security testing, cloud platforms, or regulated environments.
- Experience working with Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Experience working with healthcare data and EHRs.
- Experience working with VA systems, such as VistA, MPI, VA Profile, etc.
