In This Role: You will develop and execute formal plans, procedures and scenarios for manual and automated testing to ensure quality of software applications, reviewing and assessing test coverage to ensure thorough quality review You will be planning tests, writes test cases/scripts, automates test cases and executes tests You will be performing smoke, application, functional and regression testing, including appropriate level of testing to ensure that systems or applications are tested effectively prior to implementation You will be documenting and tracking test results, defects and other quality metrics You will be entering problems and issues into system and participates in resolution You will be developing and implementing quality standards and best practices, contributing ideas and effort toward continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ related software testing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive collaboration & communication within development team and the software user base
  • System and application functional testing experience required
  • Ability to objectively evaluate processes and to separate technical systems into testable layers
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with multiple projects as test coordinator
  • Experience writing test scripts and training material
