About The Position

Software Tester The Opportunity: We're a fast-paced, highly collaborative software engineering team building and launching capabilities for enterprise web-based systems in the Public Health field. We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented software tester to execute testing of complex features and system capabilities to ensure our team releases high quality software. You'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, conducting testing of new features, performing regression testing, creating and maintaining test cases and scripts, and developing automated tests. You'll leverage your technical expertise in software and web-based technologies to work with a team of analysts and engineers to build, test, and operate system capabilities. You should be able to work independently while collaborating with a team to solve problems. This position is located in Atlanta, GA. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing test cases and plans for web-based applications
  • Experience using Playwright for test automation
  • Experience testing complex data states, reports and dashboards, and web services or APIs
  • Experience working on a software development team
  • Experience identifying and managing defects
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting, including C#, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
  • Ability to quickly understand complex application functionality, business rules, and dependencies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an application lifecycle management (ALM) tool, including Jira or TFS
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience with performance and load testing
  • Experience with security testing
  • Experience with API testing tools, including Postman
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Master's degree
