Founded in 1986, OnTrac has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses, including five of the largest retailers in the U.S. Location: 1930 Bishop Lane, Suite 111, Louisville, KY 40218 (Combination of REMOTE and HYBRID ON-SITE work in Louisville, KY) Pay: $24.00 to $29.00 / hour depending on experience and qualifications Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (Flexible hours will occasionally be required to meet project deadlines.) Employment Logistics: This entry-level Software Support Technician works closely with a software development team to test and troubleshoot application software, create reports, and perform data analyses. Daily activities require working within MS SQL, including Transactional SQL and SQL Reporting Services, setting up and maintaining B2B communications using a variety of technologies. Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, software engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working in integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio 2010-2015.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent DBMS.
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot Transact SQL queries.
  • Ability to research and analyze data.

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting support to internal customers using internally developed applications.
  • Create and maintain reports in MS SQL Reporting Services.
  • Perform Ad-Hoc reporting and data analysis.
  • Create and maintain customer integrations for B2B data exchange.
  • Establish FTP communications and perform data format validation for new customers.
  • Minor development of specific data management processes.
