At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you'll own and drive development of a groundbreaking simulation testbed for our Blue Ring spacecraft program. Blue Ring is the "Swiss Army Knife of satellites" and can support a variety of missions in Earth orbit domains out to the cislunar region - including transporting and hosting payloads, refueling satellites, as well as performing data relay, storage and compute via our in-space edge compute capability. In this role you'll own requirements gathering, planning, architectural design, implementation, and certification for our new hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) / software-in-the-loop (SWIL) simulation testbed. You'll collaborate both with our internal simulation team and external customers to develop sophisticated simulation models that precisely reflect spacecraft operational scenarios, and develop test scripts to execute and automate test events / activities. Special Mentions: Relocation provided 10-15% domestic travel required
