About The Position

This role is intended to drive the long-term success of our HIL platform models by making them efficient, scalable, and integrated into our automated testing platform, especially as the underlying vendor software is changed and the existing models are made obsolete. Develop, configure, and maintain real‑time simulation models using: OPAL‑RT (RT‑LAB, eHS) Typhoon HIL Additional HIL platforms as required Configure and maintain hardware I/O mappings across analog, digital, PWM, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, and other interfaces. Accurately model IGBT and MOSFET switching characteristics Build automated test suites covering functional, regression, performance, and fault‑injection cases. Implement automated data logging, waveform capture, and pass/fail analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with HIL systems
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with power electronics
  • Python, Robot Framework, C or C++, MATLAB - PLECS
