Software Quality Assurance Internship for Summer 2026 Job Description THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION BASED OUT OF CHELMSFORD, MA Brooks is a growing, fast-paced technology leader of automation solutions which support the dynamic and expanding semiconductor and life sciences lab markets. We have a Summer Internship opportunity available in our Software Quality Assurance Engineering organization.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Robotics Engineering.
• Basic software design and coding skills in either Python, C++ or Java.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to basic TELNET and networking utilities (FTP) helpful.
• Interest in IoT or industrial automation over Ethernet.
• Experience with hobbyist platforms such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python test code to exercise and test a variety of robots and associated hardware.
• Opportunity for wiring sensors and other devices to the robot.
