About The Position

Are you interested in an internship that provides a unique perspective to the education field? Join National Heritage Academies (NHA) this summer as a Software Quality Assurance Intern! This is a paid in-person internship in our Grand Rapids Service Center office. The duration of the internship is mid-May through early August. In this role, you will work at our Service Center located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is where all the behind-the-scenes magic happens. Keep reading! In This Role: The internship will focus on quality assurance for internal software development. This will be utilizing both manual testing and automated test writing to ensure software functionality and reliability. Candidates will need strong problem-solving skills and some experience in coding to succeed in this role. Drive Real Impact: Take ownership of impactful projects, contributing substantively to our team's success. This isn't about fetching coffee; it's about owning and delivering on your projects. Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of dedicated and enthusiastic IT professionals. Requirements

  • Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in written and verbal communication is essential.
  • Organizational Aptitude: Display a keen organizational knack coupled with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Multitasking Ability: Handle multiple tasks and assignments efficiently. While we don't expect juggling feats, versatility and adaptability are valued.
  • College Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled in college to qualify for this internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Javascript is a plus.
