About The Position

Integral Analytics, a division of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for working with developers and product owners on preventing defects through collaboration of requirements and finding defects through manual and automated testing methods. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will promote and maintain the QA process within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements

A degree in a related field is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates from diverse educational backgrounds.
0-3 years' experience as a QA Analyst accepted.
Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Azure DevOps, JIRA etc.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
A questioning attitude and curiosity - the ability to ask questions to get to the root-cause of issues.
Demonstrated self-starter with technical flexibility and sense of ownership.
Demonstrated creativity and quality focus.

Responsibilities

Test and support a diverse portfolio of software services and tools.
Create and carry out manual test plans and procedures.
Design, create and carry out automated tests.
Communicate and resolve product quality issues with research and development.
Ability to represent user interest and experience while providing feedback to designers, developers and product owners.
Track defects using Azure DevOps.
Participate in an structured, variable-sized team, development environment.
