Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Math, Business, Technology (any), or related, and 2 years of experience in Information Technology (IT)/engineering or IT-related consulting/business.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s or equivalent in any field other than the above-listed fields and 3 years of experience in the above occupations.
  • 1 year of experience in any 4 tools/technologies across the following categories with at least 2 from one category: Programming Languages and Web Technologies; Development Frameworks and Tools; Databases; Data Management; Cloud Services & DevOps; Networking; Enterprise Software and Business Applications; Testing & QA Tools; Security & Compliance Tools; Integration Services; Project Management Methodologies & Tools; Embedded Systems & Hardware Programming; Hardware Interfaces & Components; Circuit, RF, and Thermal Design; Robotics & Automation; Virtual Validation & Prototyping; CAD & Mechanical Design; EDA / Signal Integrity / Simulation; Configuration & System Utilities; Business & Integration Platforms; UI/UX; Mobile Development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers.
  • Create and maintain databases of known defects.
  • Participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules.
  • Design, prototype, and test support procedures and implement practical business solutions.
  • Perform system/quality assurance testing to identify key failure points for applications.
  • Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
  • Integrate testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Perform system/quality assurance testing to identify key failure points for applications.
  • Track and resolve issues to ensure the delivery of project.
  • Coordinate with the application support team to eliminate recurring incidents and to minimize the impact of incidents.
  • Evaluate software for testing or bug tracking.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
