Then look no further: Your Role as a QA Technician: This position is responsible for managing new and exciting quality assurance (QA) initiatives to increase the quality of in-house developed and customized software delivered to customers.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in automation testing preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with software development lifecycles, programing, and systems analysis
  • Prior knowledge of and experience with computer systems, servers, mainframes, hardware/software products and interfaces
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet predetermined deadlines
  • Experience with video software

Responsibilities

  • Determine QA strategy, methodology, and techniques addressing all phases of development
  • Provide technical and operational support/services to development team in support of software development, functionality, interface, and integration testing
  • Oversees and ensures quality of bug reporting and test plans
  • Test and analyzes programs/applications for control and operational weaknesses
  • Evaluates software requirements to create/implement comprehensive test plans and scripts
  • Monitor, track and report test statuses to the development team and management
  • Develop and maintain checklists designed to examine compliance with TestRail, and Trello
  • Assist the development team in determining whether testing errors originate in test scripts or software/hardware
  • Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation/reports
  • Review software and applications before release for compliance with quality standards and objectives
  • Report finds to the development team and present appropriate resolutions for any issue
  • Participate and investigate system malfunctions and outages
