About The Position

Design and execute test cases for advanced imaging algorithms and video‑processing technologies. Evaluate new features for reliability and accuracy, providing clear documentation and feedback. Support and improve test automation environments, including hardware setups and software frameworks. Partner with technical writers and engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of technical data and test documentation. Contribute to optimizing engineering workflows using source control, CI/CD, and custom tooling. Explore and apply AI/LLM‑assisted methods to enhance log analysis, test design, and other QA activities. Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with interest in imaging, video, or signal processing. Ability to learn new technical concepts effectively and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Academic projects, coursework, or prior experience related to imaging, video systems, or digital signal processing are beneficial. Proficiency in Python; familiarity with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, unittest) is helpful. Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems and basic troubleshooting skills. Experience with TV operating systems (Google TV, Fire OS, WebOS, VIDDA OS) is a plus. Knowledge of video codecs (H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, AV1) and streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG‑DASH) is valuable. Familiarity with AI coding assistants or LLM‑based engineering workflows is a plus. We recognize that applying to internships can feel intimidating, especially for those entering a new field or without prior professional experience. We encourage applicants to include relevant academic, project‑based, volunteer, or extracurricular work.
