What We’re Doing Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. Protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together in a dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies. The Work Candidate will serve as the Software Product Team, Product Owner for the C2BMC Planner Product Team. Candidate will be responsible for driving value delivery for the Planner application, part of a complex missile defense command and control system. The candidate will perform the following tasks:

Requirements

DoD Final SECRET Security Clearance (Top Secret Desirable)
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field from an accredited college, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience leading and managing cross functional teams in the development and integration of large, complex software applications.
Demonstrated experience in performing stakeholder management in a large, complex development program.
Knowledge of Software Integration and formal testing.

Nice To Haves

Proven leadership experience with full life cycle development on large, integrated DoD systems, including requirements development and interpretation, design, implementation and test, fielding and maintenance.
Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience as either a Software Product Manager or a Software Product Owner.
Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience specifying customer needs and managing customer priorities.
SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) certification strongly desired.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment.
Occasional travel will be required for this position 10%.

Responsibilities

Coordinate stakeholder needs to drive the frequent delivery of value to the customer.
Coordinate and prioritize needs for multiple Task Orders and products in different phases of development.
Contribute to the overall C2BMC Program Roadmap.
Assess progress and report status to Leadership.
Interface with the customer.
Manage stakeholder expectations.
Work with other Product Teams and ARTs to plan and execute C2BMC releases.
Interface with the Planner Support Cell, Training, Platform & Infrastructure and Technical Leadership Teams and communicate priorities to the Product Team.
Support preparation and presentation of briefings and demonstrations to customer.
