The Product Owner plays a critical role in advancing this mission by ensuring excellence in both the execution of existing systems and the implementation of new solutions for our stakeholders. This role will be pivotal in translating strategic vision into detailed product requirements and ensuring successful execution, ultimately delivering value to our customers and advancing our mission. Our ideal candidate will reside in our hub cities of Cary, NC or Forth Worth, TX to support occasional in-office work. We may consider a well qualified fully remote candidate not located in these areas. At this time, we are not able to offer sponsorship for employment visas. This includes individuals currently on F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, or any other visa status that would require future sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience, and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role in an agile development environment (experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly desirable)
  • Experience with JIRA, workflow documentation tools (e.g., Visio), and collaboration platforms such as SmartSheet
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and a passion for developing innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting pharmacy solutions, biopharma integrations, or specialty medication workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities, workflows and operational processes within Citus Health (Engagement Manager), Annexus AssistPoint, and other relevant systems to ensure effective utilization and support
  • Communicate and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with Biologics’ overall business goals and market needs.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
  • Work closely with cross-functional development teams (developers, designers, QA) to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements and to facilitate efficient execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and the development team, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead and participate in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather user feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for products, analyzing data to inform future product decisions and measure success.
  • Ensure KPIs and deliverables are consistently socialized across the organization and understood by all functional areas.
  • Responsible for activities in JIRA such as, managing tickets, development tracking, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization.
