About The Position

Software Lead and Integration Manager The Opportunity: As a software integrator, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface and data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for an engineer like you to lead a U.S. Space Force team of physicists, systems engineers, and software developers as they develop efficient and effective software to support both U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy end users. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for evaluating physics-based concepts, designing and testing software, and implementing end-to-end solutions. You will leverage experience with radio frequency (RF) and space weather concepts and translate scientific needs into scalable, mission-driven software solutions. This role requires hands-on ability to read, program, and review code across the stack, while also providing strategic direction and mentorship to engineering and science personnel. You will collaborate across disciplines, communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, and drive alignment between scientific objectives and software development efforts. Success in this role requires a balance of technical depth, leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment. As a member of our team, you’ll demonstrate a proactive approach to work, consistently anticipating needs and taking initiative to address challenges before they arise.
