Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • 8-12 years of experience in software development project management
  • Working knowledge of C++
  • Good communication skills for working in a highly collaborative lab environment and interfacing with
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Good fundamentals in Jira agile boards, backlogs, and reports
  • Good fundamentals in Agile practices like scrum, iterations, and schedules based on team velocity
  • Good fundamentals in GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
  • Familiarity with Modern C++ development
  • Familiarity with Unit Test development
  • US Citizen
  • Possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance
  • Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area

Responsibilities

  • Support advanced technology radar product development and software delivery
  • Negotiate agile backlog priorities
  • Estimate schedules based on agile team velocity
  • Present progress to customers and negotiate schedule changes and content impacts
  • Interface with lab IT to ensure the development toolchain is in good working order
  • Work closely with a highly collaborative development team primarily in a lab environment
  • Maintain two separate CI/CD pipelines: one in a cloud environment and one in a lab environment
