About The Position

Software Engineer II for Intelligrated Systems, LLC (Mason, OH) RESPONSIBILITES: Provide technical support for Intelligrated install-base for a wide variety of software platforms, programming, languages and operating systems. Support customers directly via emails and calls received, to create/update dashboard incidents as events occur, and partner with customers or internal resources to restore functionality/create workarounds. Implement software fixes/updates. Write Knowledgebase articles to address procedures/practices for software engineering. Analyze trends in software issues/deficiencies to identify and implement software updates. Perform Root Cause Analysis for software issues and create formal documentation. Work with the product development team to perform software development and shape Intelligrated software to ensure supportability. Create software tools to analyze Technical support data to improve Intelligrated processes as well as provide customer support. Collaborate with other technical support teams to provide robust support for large and complex Intelligrated Systems. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Implement software changes, utilize Linux/UNIX shell scripting and command line power tools, C/C++ as appropriate and also update database using SQL queries. YOU MUST HAVE: Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related Software Engineering position. Must possess two (2) years of experience in the following: Firm understanding of Linux command line and VI editor; software configuration management and change management practices; Working knowledge of these databases: MS Access, Oracle, Advanced Excel, MS Office tools, SQL Server, Oracle, Informix, Teradata; Working knowledge of these software languages: C, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, HTTPS, Unix, SQL, PL/SQL, Embedded C; and Working knowledge of these operating systems: windows, Mac, Windows Server, Windows XP. Up to 10% international and domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week. Requirements
