The Principal Engineering Manager in this role leads the open-source Microsoft Agent Framework product in Core AI organization that enables developers to build complex agents using this framework and seamlessly deploy those agents to production at enterprise scale with Foundry. This framework is critical to the success of Core AI organization as it becomes a vehicle for gaining mind share with the developer and open-source community on how to build complex agents with multi-agent orchestration, pre-built and custom tools and seamless hooks to deploy those agents to production. The framework also becomes a major source for driving customer adoption to Foundry services. The Principal Engineering Manager for Agent Framework will be responsible for managing a 10+ member team, build differentiated capabilities around agent harness, context engineering, while also providing a seamless path for developers to use Foundry services for hosting, memory, evaluations, etc.
