About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on, inspiring Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams of talented engineers in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems. In this role, you'll balance technical depth with people leadership, shaping the future of our engineering culture while delivering impactful, business-critical solutions. You'll spend roughly 50% of your time leading and mentoring engineers, building high-performing teams, guiding architectural direction, and fostering technical excellence, and 50% hands-on, designing systems, writing code, leveraging AI-driven tools, and solving complex challenges. Requirements

Bachelor's or master's in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership or management role.
Proven experience leading teams building distributed, cloud-native, or large-scale systems.
Proficiency in modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, React).
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and modern DevOps practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
A track record of aligning engineering execution with business strategy.

Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention of top technical talent.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering peers to define technical strategy and deliver on the roadmap.
Lead architectural design, code reviews, and best engineering practices across teams.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and operational excellence across systems and releases.
Translate business goals into actionable, measurable engineering plans.
Balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and technical debt reduction.
Monitor key engineering metrics, velocity, quality, performance, and reliability.
Evolve engineering processes to improve speed, reliability, and collaboration.
Champion agile practices and CI/CD for efficient delivery.
Identify and remove bottlenecks across people, systems, and workflows.
