Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or higher-level education equivalent
  • An interest in full cycle application development, including design, development, implementation, and support
  • Knowledge of and experience with basic object-oriented programming concepts through coursework, job experience, or hobbies
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and success working in team environments
  • Exposure to one or more of the following technologies is preferred: C# JavaScript SQL

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Agile, Azure DevOps, DevOps practices, Test-Driven Development
  • SaaS software experience

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of tools and technologies to perform some aspects or phases of the full lifecycle of software development:
  • Work directly with subject matter experts to identify and document requirements for any change
  • Create detailed designs of new functionality or incremental enhancements
  • Code new functionality and incremental enhancements using a variety of tools/languages
  • Define, create, and execute manual or automated test cases
  • Performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot cause of problems or source of defects and recommend changes to address
  • Create automated installation & deployment packages
  • Document system behavior and system architecture
  • Participate in Agile project planning, management, and improvement
  • Collaborate with others on the team to improve overall product quality and development & support efficiency
  • And other duties as assigned.
