About The Position

In this role, you will join our Future Flight Autonomy team and be a part of enabling new and novel solutions for next generation aircraft capabilities. You will work with systems and software engineers and avionics experts to develop Future Flight Deck and Autonomous Aircraft capabilities. You will assist in demonstrating our progress to key stakeholders and help grow our team by applying your unique perspective and skills in our collaborative work environment. The capabilities you help develop will support prototype and demonstration in real operational environments. This is an Onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Git, Subversion (SVN), Docker
  • Experience with Simulink and MATLAB
  • Experience with HTML, C/C++ and Python
  • Experience with concepts such as CONOPS, SW prototyping and trade studies
  • Experience demonstrating your communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Avionics or pilot experience
