As a Software Engineer Group Manager within PNC's AMG Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, or Strongsville, OH. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Candidates should have experience with the following: Managing and leading a technology team responsible for delivering and maintaining critical enterprise applications. Overseeing development, integration, and support of a diverse portfolio of systems, including internally built and third-party solutions. Driving initiatives to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability across multiple platforms. Managing vendor relationships and ensuring effective integration of external applications into the organization’s technology ecosystem. Leading efforts to implement robust integration strategies, including APIs and batch processing, for seamless data exchange. Ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence across all technology solutions. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple development projects, development groups and/or application support functions for a major business segment.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems .
  • Allocates and ensures resource arrangements during the application development life cycle .
  • Maintains relationships with clients to ensure the implementation quality of application systems .
  • Provides solutions or recommendations on complicated technology issues for application development and implementation .
