Additional experience with Spring, web technologies, unit testing, containers, and cloud technologies (Docker, Azure, Helm Charts) is a plus.

Develop clean, maintainable, secure, and efficient code following department standards.
Utilize source control (Git), including branching, merging, and continuous integration practices.
Conduct and participate in peer code reviews.
Collaborate with management to improve development processes and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs; update unit tests to prevent regressions.
Perform comprehensive testing (e.g., integration, performance, security).
Use code metrics and coverage tools to enhance code quality.
Mentor and support onboarding of new team members.
Maintain hands-on familiarity with relevant products and systems.
Communicate concerns and suggestions to management and peers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum 2 years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Java and SQL Server (or other RDBMS).
Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
Familiarity with Git and source control workflows.
Experience building scalable, high-availability systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering.

Experience with Spring, web technologies, unit testing, containers, and cloud technologies (Docker, Azure, Helm Charts) is a plus.
Agile development experience is a plus.
