The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missing Systems has an opportunity in Orlando for a mid-career Software Engineer supporting the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs. An ATE Software Engineer is responsible for developing, updating, and integrating software applications on ATE hardware. ATE Software Engineers also support test program development and integration. Requirements

Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineer field
1 year or more experience using C, C++, C# or similar programming languages
Software design and testing experience in a professional environment
Experience utilizing Agile software development methodologies
This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Automatic Test Equipment software development
.NET Core development or equivalent experience in other languages
Database experience (PostgreSQL)
Ability to work in an integrated cross-functional team setting (Systems, Hardware, Integration and Test Engineers)

Responsibilities

Contribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software cycle.
Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs.
Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.
