About The Position

Join the BITS team within Twitch's Commerce organization, where the focus is on revolutionizing how viewers engage with their favorite creators. This team is responsible for products like Cheering, Power-ups, and Charity, which transform watching into an interactive adventure. The team constantly pushes the boundaries of what's possible in live streaming, from experimental features to established systems used by millions. This position and team are based in Seattle, WA.

Requirements

1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
A track record of building consumer-facing products that users love
Mastery of modern programming languages and frameworks
Sharp problem-solving skills with a focus on algorithms, data structures, and schema design
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Familiarity with Twitch's tech stack: Golang, Typescript/React
Experience with AWS technologies like ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions
A passion for gaming, streaming, or the Twitch platform
