Tech7 is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days per week on site located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be working is a highly visible project, with a few govt stakeholders. This position develops supporting applications, UI/UX, database queries, web services Member of a collaborative, integrated federal Government/contractor DRAGON Army team that develops, tests, and deploys specialized, high-impact software applications using Agile methodologies in a DevOps pipeline and communications for a government run commercial operations center.

Requirements

Minimum 4-7 years of experience in agile software development
Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-focused environment required

Time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team
US citizenship required
Top Secret eligible. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in (Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degrees preferred.)

Responsibilities

Taking a leading role in the technical and programmatic actions to establish, optimize, and maintain a fully functional DevOps pipeline that supports the DRAGON Army mission sets.
Work with the Government customer and integrated product teams, consisting of Government contractor personnel, to implement required software feature sets, DevOps capabilities, and pipeline performance enhancements.
Perform software engineering tasks that help map operational needs into digital engineering models to guide application development for implementation in the DevOps pipeline.
Manage development, integration, and execution of tools designed to assess and improve the utility of applications.
Knowledge of Agile software processes and ceremonies.
Mentor junior developers on team.
