About The Position

Request for Additional Engineering Capacity: FedRAMP Certification With the upcoming, mandated FedRAMP certification process, the Identity and Access Management team requires a significant increase in engineering capacity to meet the extensive compliance and security tasks involved. The certification requires a substantial, specialized effort, including: Extensive code refactoring and system hardening. Implementation and verification of dozens of FedRAMP security controls. Development of enhanced monitoring, logging, and audit capabilities. Creation of detailed, auditable technical and process documentation. Our current team is fully engaged with ongoing product delivery, critical support, and system maintenance, leaving no capacity to absorb this critical, time-sensitive compliance work. To effectively address the scope of work and meet the aggressive FedRAMP certification timeline, we propose adding four Software Engineers (1 P3 and 3 P2s). This critical increase in personnel will enable the Workflow team to: Meet all FedRAMP requirements within the certification window. Significantly reduce compliance risks associated with government contracts. Ensure continued delivery of our core product roadmap without interruption. The P3 engineer will be crucial for leading the technical design and coordinating the implementation of the most complex security controls, while the three P2 engineers will drive the necessary code refactoring, implementation, and documentation efforts across the platform. Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
