PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. The candidate is to be a software engineer supporting S3I Aviation SILs on Redstone Arsenal designing, developing, and testing code written to facilitate testing for the US Army rotary wing aircraft platforms. Duties: Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient software solutions using C++ and C# across various platforms. Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code, ensuring high performance and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless operation of software applications. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards and provide constructive feedback to peers. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Continuously improve knowledge of emerging technologies and contribute to the evolution of the software development process.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient software solutions using C++ and C# across various platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless operation of software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of emerging technologies and contribute to the evolution of the software development process.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong proficiency in C++ and C#
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
