This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline.
  • 0+ years of experience.
  • Siemens PLC Experience

Responsibilities

  • Write design documents for software projects.
  • Develop GE/Emerson PLC software using Proficy.
  • Design HMIs using Wonderware InTouch and Proficy View
  • Debug and test PLC and HMI software.
  • Integrate HMI and database interfaces.
  • Provide support for existing customers of WEC FHEM product line.
  • Plan, schedule, and perform work to meet assignment requirements within established scope, schedule, and budgetary requirements.
  • Read schematic diagrams and apply relevant information to the project software.
  • Develop and review all software test procedures.
  • Work with customers, vendors and other internal departments on a professional level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Identify areas for product/service improvements to management personnel.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and support implementation.
  • Resolve Corrective Action issues and support process improvement efforts within department and company.
  • Identify and help develop new business opportunities.
