About The Position
Our client is a profitable, YC-backed AI startup building the system of record for company conversations—starting with AI-powered meeting notes and expanding into a broader platform that captures, organizes, and activates knowledge across meetings, calls, and communications. With over 9,000 paying customers and strong revenue traction, the company is scaling quickly while maintaining a small, high-velocity team. Their product is already used by leading startups, and they are positioned to define a new category at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise collaboration. This role is ideal for engineers who care deeply about product quality and user experience—combining strong full-stack skills with a passion for building impactful AI-driven products in a fast-moving startup.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of software engineering experience (exceptional new grads considered)
- Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, React, and/or Next.js
- Experience building customer-facing products end-to-end
- Startup experience or strong interest in early-stage environments
- Active GitHub or portfolio demonstrating real projects and code contributions
- Strong product intuition and curiosity about building great software
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Python backend systems
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools or AI-assisted development workflows
- Experience with mobile or desktop development (React Native, Swift, Electron)
- Hackathon experience, side projects, or founder experience
- Strong opinions about product design and user experience
Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end product features across web, desktop, and mobile platforms
- Develop frontend applications using React and Next.js , and backend systems using Python
- Work on AI-powered features such as meeting transcription, search, and automation workflows
- Drive product decisions by engaging with users, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to define product direction and technical architecture
- Participate in on-call rotations, gaining direct insight into customer usage and issues
- Experiment with and integrate the latest AI models and tools into the product
- Own features from ideation through production and continuous improvement
