About The Position

Duties: Provide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks. Identify and mitigate issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary. Provide input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team. Be accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures. Drive collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Lead architecture and design for scalable and resilient systems. Design and develop Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for emerging technologies and integration strategies to validate approaches, reduce delivery risk, and support stakeholder decision-making. Provide hands-on support throughout the solution delivery lifecycle. Lead the migration of legacy middleware services and create an onboarding strategy to transition consumers seamlessly to the new architecture. Manage end-to-end execution of a book of work by identifying and mitigating delivery risks, proactively escalating issues, and aligning with leadership on priorities, resourcing, and strategic planning. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Associate - Projects, Systems Engineer, or related occupation. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: JavaScript; Angular; Node.js; HTML or CSS; AJAX.

Responsibilities
