About The Position

Are you passionate about building scalable, cloud-native applications and driving automation across modern tech stacks? Join our growing Versent Modern Run team as a Software Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable IT operations. We’re looking for a proactive engineer with full-stack development experience who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex problems. You’ll be working on cutting-edge solutions using TypeScript, React, and serverless Node.js on AWS, with a strong focus on automation, lifecycle management, and DevSecOps best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or equivalent experience in Python, Java, or C#.
• Solid understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architecture.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS SAM, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• A background in managing complex systems and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OAuth via AzureAD/EntraID or AWS Cognito is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of cloud-native applications across their lifecycle—from build to scale.
• Champion DevSecOps practices and lead by example in engineering excellence.
• Develop and troubleshoot using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CodeBuild/CodePipeline, and Bitrise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure reliability.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues proactively.
• Ensure governance and compliance with industry best practices.
• Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and ITSM platforms to manage work and documentation.
