About The Position

This Software Engineer position involves working in an Agile / DevSecOps environment, focusing on web-based and Java mission systems. • Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (Ext JS, React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML
• Experience with CI / CD Pipelines
• Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML experience
• Experience with JUnit, MagicDraw, Crucible, Fisheye, Subversion, JIRA
• Development experience using agile methods such as SCRUM/XP
• Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology
• Experience with USSTRATCOM Mission Planning/Strike applications
• Recent experience on Global Strike and/or Data Services applications
• An understanding of domain-specific Models and algorithms such as ballistic missile flight models, earth models, fratricide models and multiple fratricide models and algorithms
• Thorough understanding of continuous integration & test

Responsibilities

• Develop and test full-stack Java-based web applications in an Agile / DevSecOps team environment
• Engage in multi-functional engineering disciplines (beyond software code and unit testing) that span a standard development life-cycle, including Systems Engineering (requirements definition, analysis and decomposition), software cost estimation, architecture design principles such as UML, DoDAF views, OOA&D and use of common design tools (such as System Architect, Rational products, and Visio)
• Develop software test plans and software test descriptions and reports
• Support continuous integration & test
