About The Position

As a Software Engineer, you don’t just write code; you architect solutions that safeguard national security. We are looking for a technical strategist who can bridge the gap between complex requirements and elegant, scalable software. You will manage the full development lifecycle—adding your unique expertise to integrated components while providing the mentorship and insight that drives team success. Requirements

  • Education & Experience: B.S. Degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline) with 14+ years of experience.
  • OR 19–20 years of professional software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Skills: Programming & Frameworks: Expert proficiency in Java (Core/Enterprise), C++, and Python or Go/Golang.
  • Big Data Ecosystem: Extensive experience with Hadoop and Accumulo for large-scale data storage and processing.
  • Cloud & Automation: Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and configuration management via Ansible.
  • Specialized Engineering: Proven experience in AI/ML development or integration and building large-scale data analytic systems.
  • Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Distributed Systems Architecture: Design and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop and Accumulo to manage massive mission datasets.
  • AI/ML & Analytics: Lead the development and integration of machine learning models into production environments to drive predictive intelligence.
  • Automation & Orchestration: Streamline deployment workflows and manage infrastructure configurations using Ansible and Terraform.
  • High-Performance Development: Write robust, scalable code in Java, C++, and Python to support real-time data analytic systems.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and manage cloud-native environments within AWS, ensuring high availability and mission resilience.
