About The Position

We’re hiring a Software Engineer to join our Quote & Order Management team, a specialized group within ServiceNow’s CRM Engineering division. This team is responsible for building and scaling the systems that power order capture, quote approvals, margin calculations, and fulfillment workflows for some of our largest customers. This is a foundational engineering role focused on backend development, data modeling, and integration across the quote-to-cash lifecycle. You’ll help build the core infrastructure that connects pricing, catalogs, quotes, contracts, and post-sale operations like returns and repairs.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript or similar programming languages at the application level.
  • Strong understanding of backend development, data modeling, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with configuring business applications and working with enterprise platforms.
  • Exposure to front-end development (though not the primary focus initially).
  • Ability to work with access control policies and data copying mechanisms.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with ServiceNow implementations
  • Exposure to AI initiatives or interest in intelligent automation.
  • Experience in quote-to-cash systems or order fulfillment workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend logic and data models for quote and order workflows.
  • Configure and extend ServiceNow platform capabilities to support complex integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between pricing, catalog, contracts, and post-sale systems.
  • Build access control policies and manage data integrity across business applications.
  • Contribute to foundational platform work that will later support custom UI development.
  • Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and platform-specific implementations.
