About The Position

Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Credit Company LLC (Dearborn, Michigan). Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Develop, maintain, and enhance the "Credit Decisioning" application using Java/J2EE technologies. Design, implement, and test new features and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Optimize application performance and scalability. Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand and refine software requirements. Coordinate closely with other software engineers to deliver user stories through pair programming and mob programming. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture. Support testing and Quality Assurance efforts. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to guide development efforts. Participate in performance testing and tuning. Support deployment and operation initiatives. Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Tekton. Deploy applications to cloud-based environments (e.g., Google Cloud Platform). Evaluate application performance and health using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and SonarQube. Participate in on-call support rotations to respond to production issues. Research and evaluate the latest technologies and industry trends. Utilize tools and technologies to improve development efficiency and code quality. Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience utilizing Java and J2EE technologies. In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, employer will accept two additional years of experience as stated. Also requires 4 years of experience: Working with Spring Boot, RESTful and SOAP web services, SQL databases, and cloud-native microservices; and Delivering applications via continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). We are offering a salary of $120,349.00 - $184,135.20/yr. Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience utilizing Java and J2EE technologies.
