Overview of Opportunity Two Six Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and socket programming using Python, C, C++, and Linux command-line environments
  • Experience with Linux-based CLI tools, scripting, and low-level development environments
  • 2+ years of experience with operating system internals
  • Experience with general network configuration and maintenance (DNS, DHCP, VLAN)
  • Experience in AI/ML, especially with NLP and LLMs
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance, if needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and building automated test workflows (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Familiarity with firmware or driver development across Linux and/or Windows
  • Experience in embedded software development using Python, C, C++, and Linux command-line environments
  • Experience with ESXI
  • Experience with reverse engineering and vulnerability research, using tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra
  • Experience working with government customers

Responsibilities

  • Develop and mature software prototypes into operational solutions
  • Build scalable, modular designs with reusable components
  • Analyze requirements and design robust, efficient, and secure software systems
  • Develop new features and maintain existing applications
  • Perform vulnerability discovery and analysis on various software components
  • Contribute to test automation infrastructure and workflows (e.g., GitLab pipelines)
