We’re seeking a Software Engineer who thrives in complex technical environments—someone fluent in big data tooling like SPARC or PySpark, confident navigating Solr/Elastic clusters, and skilled at building and deploying secure, scalable middleware. If you’re comfortable moving between Java, Python, JavaScript, and Bash; designing and tuning RESTful APIs; working hands‑on in AWS; and delivering reliable code on Linux platforms such as CENTOS, you’ll feel right at home here.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Utilizing big data technologies such as SPARC or PYSPARC.
• Hands on experience in Solr or Elastic such as running an index, spinning up a Solr cluster and loading an index onto the cluster, and/or making Solr/Elastic schema changes, etc.
• Performing data quality analysis.
• Regular Expressions (RegEx).
• Programming using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Bash, and Python.
• Working with several AWS services.
• Writing Java 8+ (will be upgrading to Java 17 later this year)
• JIRA and GITHUB.
• Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Linux operating systems such as CENTOS.
• Designing, developing, and deploying middleware and/or backend code to a production system.
