As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable, cloud-based software solutions. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements to our platform. The ideal candidate should have experience in both software development, as well as a background in cloud technologies. Primary responsibilities will be focused on building a back-end platform, with some front-end development. We are seeking an individual who can offer fresh, innovative and insightful perspectives, enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and is dedicated to delivering practical solutions and excellent user experiences, as we continue to broaden our customer deployments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow under the mentorship of senior engineers.
- Experience with tools such as Git, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with one or more cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiar with their services and APIs.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants in a professional or project setting
- Ability to write clear, specific prompts that produce useful outputs
- Strong critical evaluation skills—able to identify subtle bugs, inefficiencies, or security issues in generated code
- Understanding of AI limitations, including hallucinations, outdated patterns, and context window constraints
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
- Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including management, customers, and other teams, to ensure that software solutions meet their needs.
