About The Position

This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship. We are looking for highly motivated and talented Linux device driver software engineers as part of the core engineering group defining the next generation of WLAN products. As part of this core WLAN engineering group, you will be responsible for:
Software architecture and design for WLAN features on Linux platforms.
Working with firmware/systems/hardware teams for feature architecture, considering the tradeoffs in host and target feature split and defining host/target software interfaces.
Looking at the customer requirements, proposing the feature design and working on complete implementation of the feature and helping the customers launch with the feature working end to end.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Linux device driver development experience

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Any experience in WiFi/Networking protocol development
• Board or chip bring up experience
