You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with software engineering
  • Ability to proactively identify potential issues and provide recommended solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders of varying technical expertise and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and people
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to be detail oriented to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Engineering or Mathematics
  • Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification
  • Security+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with test-driven development with Angular, React, Java, or Junit
  • Experience with MySQL 8.0
  • Experience creating and managing container pipelines within Tanzu and supporting an existing environment
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and application build and deploy, such as Git or Tanzu
  • Experience working in a DoD and Agile Development environment that combines Lean, Scrum and XP frameworks
  • Experience with documentation, such as Atlassian Confluence
  • Experience with Network Infrastructure, such as BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, or SFTP a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture
  • Knowledge of JIRA, User Stories and updating Jira tickets to with appropriate levels of content
