Make the world’s most advanced SDA O&I/GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program. Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program.

  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java
  • Strong understanding of API design, testing, development, and management
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code
  • Experience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plus
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring
  • Experience with prompt engineering and AI tools to accelerate workloads
  • GitLab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCD
  • VS Code, Maven
