About The Position

REPOWR is a two-sided marketplace that connects carriers and fleet owners to share trailers and transportation equipment. We focus on increasing asset utilization, reducing empty miles, and giving carriers flexible access to capacity. Our platform supports real-time booking workflows, insurance validation, payments, and equipment tracking across a nationwide network. Role Summary Build and ship production features across REPOWR’s marketplace. Work spans React / Next.js (TypeScript) applications, Node.js services, and Postgres-backed APIs. This role is hands-on and execution-focused with increasing ownership over time.

Requirements

3–6 years experience shipping production React + TypeScript applications.
Strong Node.js backend experience.
Practical SQL experience (Postgres preferred), including query optimization.
Working knowledge of Python for scripts or lightweight services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and feature-flag releases.
Strong written and verbal communication.

Experience in a startup, logistics, or two-sided marketplace.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain React / Next.js (TypeScript) applications in production.
Implement interactive UI flows, Map-heavy workflows, and API integrations.
Write and optimize SQL queries and Postgres materialized views to maintain sub-100 ms UI responses.
Contribute to schema updates and API improvements.
Use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development; validate all generated code before merge.
Participate in daily stand-ups, async code reviews, and release demos.
