In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Control System Integration Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy. What You’ll Do You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

Requirements

  • A strong working knowledge of Wonderware, Rockwell, or the Ignition suite of products
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills appliable to design, programming, and troubleshooting of SCADA, MES, Analytics, and mobile, virtualization, and database technologies
  • The ability to simultaneously execute multiple project responsibilities
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to successfully interact with management, clients, and vendors
  • A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions
  • A bachelor of science in engineering (electrical or computer preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • System integration and ME applications experience (preferred)
  • Experience in the food and beverage or life science industries (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500), Siemens PLCs, PanelView HMIs, industrial communication networks and .NET programming (preferred)
  • Contractor and construction management skills (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Implement software control algorithms, develop software data file structures, and format terminal displays and software for data transmission with detailed emphasis on programming using assembly level languages, PLC languages, Visual C++, and other higher-level languages
  • Develop, implement, and employ debugging and maintenance software
  • Design control systems, SCADA, databases, and database interfaces
  • Handle data analytics & reporting, and scripting (VB, C#)
  • Manage programming and site start-up support of integrated packaging line and process systems for system integration & automation for the consumer products industry
  • Assume project management and team building responsibilities
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
  • Program hardware/software integration and systems diagnostics to support machine based control systems
  • Collaborate with sales personnel, customers, service technicians and other departments to assist with developing engineering and functional system specifications
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive program documentation for diagnostics, information systems, data collection and communication with other peripheral equipment.
  • Act as a liaison to production assembly, service, engineering personnel and system suppliers to furnish information and documentation about software controls; assist in the check-out and correction of control system software as needed.
