I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer / Developer to support ongoing activities for a cutomer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. Full-stack developer working on both front-end and back-end software Developing automated tests (unit tests, service level tests, and end-to-end tests) to ensure high quality software is built into our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. Code on GPS systems Direct experience with Architecture Evolution Plan

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Development experience with any of the following programming languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python
  • Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containers) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
  • US Citizenship is required.

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Recent on-program experience as a technical software lead (e.g., architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards, etc.)
  • Development experience with Linux and shell scripting (e.g., bash, ash, ksh)
  • Familiarity with the Space Domain
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional results
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
