About The Position

At Life.Church, our Digital Product team builds technology that helps people take their next step in their faith journey. As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll develop and support digital products that serve our campuses, ministries, and attenders—ranging from internal tools to platforms used every week across Life.Church. The Digital Product team equips and empowers our campus and ministry teams through tools like Rock RMS, the Church Online Platform, and the Life.Church app and website. At Life.Church, our mission is simple: to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe technology plays a key role in how people engage with the church, and we’re committed to building tools that make that experience clear, accessible, and impactful.

Requirements

  • Foundational experience in software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work through challenges.
  • Clear communication and ability to collaborate well on a team.
  • Initiative to take ownership of your work and follow through.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and improve across different platforms.
  • Alignment with Life.Church’s mission and a desire to build things that help people grow in their faith.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core preferred)
  • Basic understanding of APIs and scalable systems
  • Experience with React, Node.js, or similar frameworks
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world systems
  • Motivation to build software that has meaningful impact

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building and maintaining software.
  • Take tasks from idea to implementation with support from your team.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Build and run tests to ensure features are reliable and user-friendly.
  • Debug issues and help keep systems running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver meaningful features.
