About The Position

Our client, a world leader in semiconductor manufacturing, is looking for a “Software Engineer(Windows)” based out of Milpitas, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K We are seeking a Windows -focused Software Engineer to develop customized Windows OS images, automate system configuration, and support diagnostics for complex hardware/software systems. This role involves PowerShell scripting, test -driven configuration development, and close collaboration with hardware and software engineering teams.

Requirements

Bachelors'/Masters' Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience with Windows OS customization and OS image creation.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
Familiarity with test -driven development methods.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom Windows OS images tailored to system requirements.
Automate configuration and deployment using PowerShell scripts.
Apply test -driven development to ensure reliability of scripts and configurations.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, tools, and configurations.
Develop diagnostic scripts to enhance troubleshooting for configuration and hardware issues.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and system integration teams for smooth deployment.
